Three weavers,
one bolt at a time.
PNE began in 2008 above a tailor's in Berwick Street — a tiny room of ten bolts and one Bakelite phone. Today our floor is larger, our looms are broader, but the room is, for all the right reasons, still small.
A short manifesto
I.We buy small. We buy slow. A bolt we cannot trace is a bolt we will not stock.
II.Every fabric in this house has been touched by hand — usually ours — before it reaches you.
III.A swatch should be free. A conversation, free-er still. We are open to designers, students and the curious.
IV.Surface, drape, hand and light — in that order — are the four senses we listen to.
